Friday photo: cobbles

A cobbled lane in the conservation village of Culross, in Fife. Walking round Culross (pronounced Koo-ross) is like stepping back in time. Many of the old walls and buildings date back to the 16th and 17th Centuries and there are lots of little lanes and curious features to be discovered.

    1. I think you’d like it, Darlene. I could imagine Amanda having an adventure here. There’s an abbey and a palace and plenty of lanes and nooks and crannies.

  1. My goodness…. so beautiful. I love stone walls. We had many in the north country of New Hampshire…. however, none this ancient and no cobbled streets. Very lovely pic, Lorna. Thank you.
